Compaq Innovate Forum 97
	Hailed as one of the most spectacular staging events of the year, Innovate 97, (a biannual event hosted by Compaq Computer Corporation) has set a new world standard for technical achievement and stunning visual impact. More than 200 automated luminaires were perfectly orchestrated with 6 giant projection screens and a high-quality audio system to captivate the audience and enhance the live speaker presentations, computer demonstrations, and recorded/live video programming.

	John Busing, Compaq's lighting guru and stageman extraordinair, designed the show, set, and effects and was technical director for the multi-day event staged in Houston's George R. Brown Convention Center. Media Cottage provided automated control of the projection systems and also provided the high resolution RGB/S matrix routing switchers. The switchers enabled automated and synchronized routing of the 16 signal sources to the 6 projection screens. In addition to the main assembly hall (pictured), signals were also provided to sub-routers and projection systems in 3 additional ballrooms for overflow and breakout sessions.
